Court Okays Chemical Castration

An appeals court has upheld the chemical castration sentence of a Lake Tahoe man with AIDS who was convicted of sexually assaulting a four-year-old boy. Rudolph Christopher Steele, 43, appealed his sentence for sodomy and oral copulation because he argued the harmone suppression therapy the court ordered was improper and could interfere with his AIDS medication.
