Prosecutors Want to Use Jackson's Past

Thursday December 16, 2004
Using a California law that allows relevant previous acts in sex crime cases to be used in court, whether prosecuted or not, prosecutors in the Michael Jackson child molestation case want to introduce evidence that Jackson has committed other sex crimes in the past that went uncharged. In other action in the case, Jackson's attorneys have asked for a six-week delay in the trial, scheduled for Jan. 31. Hearings on the motions are set for Monday, Dec. 20.
