Teacher Who Had Sex With Teen Says She's Insane

Debra Lafave, the suspended Florida middle school teacher facing four felony counts of lewd and lascivious behavior for having sex with a 14-year-old student, will plead not guilty by reason of insanity, according to her attorney. "Debbie has some profound emotional issues that are not her fault," attorney John Fitzgibbons said. He will file a notice of the insanity defense in the near future.
