Peterson's Dad Pleads for Son's Life

Scott Peterson's father took the stand in the penalty phase of his son's murder trial and described Scott as a friendly boy who sang at a senior citizens' home on Sundays, tutored young students, and distributed clothes and food to the needy. The defense is attempting to provide evidence of enough mitigating circumstances to convince the jury to spare him from the death penalty.
